The 2012 St. Louis Mardi Gras celebration attracted tens of thousands of partygoers to the Soulard area located in downtown St. Louis this past weekend. Police have indicated no major incidents, thankfully. Nonetheless, the St. Louis City Police Department did make numerous arrests, mostly issuing tickets for minors in possession of alcohol (MIP). They apparently also made several arrests for disorderly conduct, peace disturbance, indecent exposure, and good ol’ bar fights (assault). In addition to these arrests, many individuals were cited for Driving While Intoxicated (DUI or DWI) in and out of the downtown St. Louis area while commuting to and from the Mardi Gras celebration.

If you were charged with any of these crimes at the 2012 Soulard Mardi Gras in St. Louis, typically the St. Louis City Municipal Court has a Mardi Gras docket at which you have to appear for your ticket. You will benefit greatly from hiring experienced legal counsel to help defend you in that Court for the Mardi Gras docket.
